Jo Malone red roses

Posted in fragrance with tags , on October 19, 2008 by LPB

Composed of seven types of roses from around the world, Red Roses is a surprisingly clean, voluptuous scent. With a heart of crushed violet leaves and hints of lemon, it unfolds like a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.

I like this extremely rosy fragrance, it’s the new school rose scent with a twist, unlike the classical boring rose notes.

Jo Malone Kohdo Wood collection

The Lotus Blossom & Water Lily scent contains a blend of mandarin, lotus blossom, bamboo and aloeswood to really energise and give you a boost in the mornings.

The Dark Amber & Ginger Lily contains black cardamom, orchid and Kyara Wood and has been created to cleanse the senses, and help make you more positive and relaxed –

As a fan of Jo Malone, i am in love with the dark amber & ginger lily! Jo has always succeed in  capturing the sensualness of woody notes and twisting them into something exhilarating & charming. After all, 154 is her trademark cologne and it’s one of my favorite.

Extremely delicious, nourishing, gel oil textured body pamper that leaves my skin smooth, glossy & sexy.

With avocado & wheatgerm  as 1st & 2nd ingredients, followed by sweet almond & apricot as 4th & 5th on the list, the body serum is luxury made in heaven!

Jo Malone white jasmine & mint

This is the 2nd JM’s floral cologne i fell head over heels in love with, after orange blossom.

Its notes sound like a perfect cup of relaxing, chilling tea; mint, peppermint, chamomile, bergamot, coriander leaves, with sprinkles of rose & jasmine petals.

I especially love the subtle presence of rose de mai absolut. The jasmine is not overpowering in this formula, while ylang ylang & orange flower retain their freshness with a pinch of honeyed sweetness.

This unique cologne is certainly an elegant piece for everyday wear, and yet seducing enough for intimate occasions.

My favorite Jo Malone fragrance combination

154 + Amber & Lavender = sexy, animalistic

Blue Agava & Cacao + Napa Leather = chic, decadent

White Jasmine & Mint + Grapefruit & Rosemary = exhilarating, innocent

Fleurs de la Foret + Cigarette = naughty Mrs Robinson

I had a very pleasant day in Chancery’s Jo Malone. The consultants are approachable & professional; got a complimentary hand & arm massage using my choice of fragrance combining.

Needless to say , i splashed out & treated myself with Blue Agava & Cacao cologne, Napa Leather living cologne & the eucalyptus & mint frothy cleanser.

Jo Malone white nectarine & honey nourishing face mask

Jo Malone White Nectarine & Honey Nourishing Face Mask – an intensive facial treatment that replenishes and restores the skin. Honey, a natural moisturiser, thoroughly infuses the skin for a brilliant conditioning boost. Nectarine, rich in anti-oxidants, is combined with honey and other fortifying ingredients to thoroughly infuse the skin with moisture.

I love to use this mask as  a buffing cream, hand treatment & lip balm. This highly fragrant, ultra occlusive paste it great to be used as a buffing cream; i massage this onto my cleaned dry face,  then rub it off with a warmth wash cloth. I slap it on my hands before tugging them into gloves for an overnight treatment.

The appealing sweet nectarine aroma, the moisture retaining waxy texture and the clear finish make this face mask a great overnight lip balm.
