Jo Malone red roses

Composed of seven types of roses from around the world, Red Roses is a surprisingly clean, voluptuous scent. With a heart of crushed violet leaves and hints of lemon, it unfolds like a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.

I like this extremely rosy fragrance, it’s the new school rose scent with a twist, unlike the classical boring rose notes.

Bobbi brown sheer pressed powder

This powder is sheer enough to set my foundation, providing a semi matt finish that will not turn ashy/chalky  or enhance lines/skin flakes.

I love to apply it with a big fluffy brush in place of loose powder; its so convenient to carry around and last for ages despite the brush application technique.

It may not be the best pressed powder, but it’s so far the best i had used

La Ligne De Chanel

Mistake-proof eyeliner duo enables every woman to achieve the perfectly lined eye. Stray-proof, powder-based formula easily mimics both the precision of a liquid eyeliner and smudged look of a kohl pencil.

Its long-wear formula keeps makeup in place all day long. With its two attachable applicators that offer perfect grip, obtain a personalized result:
– the brush can be used slightly dampened for a sharp and precise line.
– the blender, used dry, outlines the eyelids with soft colour. The sharp and stylized line is perfectly adaptable. It enhances the eyes with matte or scintillating radiance.

These powdered dual offer immense color when used wet; the intensity of the color is rather inadequate when used dry. I like to smudge the shimmering powder over my kohl to create an intense, mesmerizing, smoky finish that lasts whole day.

Use the opaque pitch black shade over colored kohl pencil to add depth.

Dark smoky eyes

I am looking for the perfect eye shadow to create a sexy smoky eyes. Chanel palette has been rather disappointing due to the over the top shimmering effect.

Chanel’s Beige

From Chanel’s press release…on Beige:
“I take refuge in beige because it’s natural,” said Mademoiselle Chanel. Sandy beige, honey beige, clay beige, whitish beige… She loved all shades of this colour, which evokes natural elegance and grace. An elusive colour with infinite variations, beige may seem quite ordinary. And yet, behind this apparent simplicity, it hides a discreet sensuality that builds slowly before revealing itself fully.

This sensual outburst is interpreted by Jacques Polge through a bouquet of hawthorn, freesia and frangipani, with shimmering hints of honey. A stunning blend of white petals and yellow gold…in other words, a breath of Beige.”

On you go Beige, to my wish list!

La Mer eye concentrate

This concentrated, ultraluxe eye treatment quenches and conditions impressionable skin. The Eye Concentrate significantly reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, lines and wrinkles, encouraging the eye area to look healthy, luminous and feel supple as never before.

The Eye Concentrate is infused with three unique forms of Miracle Broth™: the original, a concentrated form and a new, encapsulated form designed to optimise continuous release to the skin. Known for its renewing properties, the Miracle Broth™ infuses skin with the revitalising ingredients it needs to focus on renewal.
The Eye Concentrate works in tandem with a specially-engineered, silver-tipped applicator which helps cool the skin, immediately facilitating micro-circulation. Rich in hematite, a naturally magnetic mineral known for its energies, with continuous use, The Eye Concentrate works over time to dramatically dissolve the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. The eye area appears healthy, more vital.

Improving visible clarity and discolouration, an exclusive marine ferment penetrates the skin with a powerful wave of activity. The appearance of discolouration and unevenness is dramatically diminished. Skin that looks tarnished and dull regains a look of healthy radiance and brightness as it is brought back to its most luminous centre.
Improving visible tone, The Eye Concentrate utilises a wealth of precious marine and plant ingredients to help skin reinforce its natural support system.  Skin that has lost its elasticity and suppleness is gently visibly smoothed and toned, vastly reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.  A wealth of anti-oxidants helps skin to defend the eye area against future damages.

It’s moisturizing, refreshing, slightly de-puffing, but has no effect on dark shadows under the eyes!

It’s definitely not de-wrinkling or de-bagging.
